Project Planning – Cybermission’s Pipeline

At Cybermission, our success in delivering exceptional software projects, such as websites, hinges on a well-structured approach. To ensure that each project unfolds smoothly and meets the highest standards, we’ve established a Project Pipeline. This Pipeline is a comprehensive framework that guides the project from the initial client meeting through to its successful launch and beyond.

In this blog series, we’ll explore each stage of the pipeline, starting with the critical groundwork laid in Stage 1.

Step 1: Requirement Gathering

Our first task is to sit down with the client to fully understand their needs, goals, and expectations. This is where we collect all necessary requirement documents and establish the preliminary project scope.

Step 2: Project Viability & Understanding

Next, we conduct an internal assessment to discuss the project’s feasibility, potential risks, and initial technical requirements. This step culminates in a viability report that guides our approach.

Step 3: Solution Research & Analysis

We then dive into researching and evaluating various technical solutions and methodologies that could be applied to the project. This process results in a detailed report on solution options and a comparative analysis.

Step 4: Internal Proposal Meeting

With our research in hand, we convene to review the findings and craft a comprehensive proposal for the client. This proposal includes a finalized project plan, cost estimates, and a timeline.

Step 5: Client Proposal Presentation & Approval

In this step, we present the proposal to the client, ensuring that all aspects of the project, including costs and timeline, align with their expectations. The outcome is a signed contract and an approved project plan.

Step 6: Detailed Agreement & Scope Definition

Finally, we refine the project scope, define deliverables, and outline responsibilities, making sure to clearly specify what is out of scope. The result is a detailed project agreement with a signed confirmation from the client.

With these foundational steps complete, the project is fully prepared to move into the next phase: execution, which we’ll explore in our next blog.
